Services   At Chisel and Bit, we build only custom-crafted, heirloom-quality furniture. Every piece is designed using centuries-old joinery methods and constructed with the perfect blend of handwork and modern techniques. Chisel and Bit offers the discerning buyer three options.  All of our work is a collaboration between your desires and our engineering, craftsmanship, and expertise.  We will work from a photograph or a simple sketch that you provide.  If you’re not sure what you want, we can help you through the design stages.  We will also work from complete measured drawings provided by your designer.   Whichever option you choose, Chisel and Bit will work with you to create that perfect piece of furniture.  We work with only the finest quality woods, both domestic and prime imported exotics from around the world.  To make sure you find the exact tone, grain, and texture you desire, we have over seventy finished wood samples from which to select.  Once detail drawings are approved and an agreement is signed, we require a 50% deposit to begin construction.  The balance is due at time of delivery.  At the signing of the purchase agreement, we will give you an estimated delivery date.  After that, we will provide progress pictures of your piece either as hard copies or on our website.
